The Active Vacation: Disney World

Some people think vacation is supposed to be relaxing, and that may be true, but Disney just isn’t that vacation. As a huge Disney fan since birth (seriously, my first stuffed animal was Mickey Mouse), I was more than excited to go to Disney World for my friend’s birthday. We had a limited time period of two days in the parks, so I knew that although there would be plenty of photo opts, I really needed to dress comfortably. Now that I’m back, I can report on my successful trip, complete with my successful ensembles!

We spent our first day at Epcot, a park complete with tastes of multiple exotic countries from around the world. Knowing that we were planning on travelling the globe in one day, I wanted to dress to impress without sacrificing my comfort. With that in mind, I opted for a pair of  jeans with floral embroidery and a black embroidered tank top to match. And, of course, what other shoes would I wear for comfort besides my Adidas? This outfit was perfect because it was chic, unique and helped me make a statement in every part of the park, from Italy to Morocco.

The next day, the Magic Kingdom was our park to conquer. Personally, this park is my absolute favorite because it brings everyone’s favorite Disney films to life and, honestly, you can’t help but smile from the second you walk into the park to the second you leave.  So, I opted for a light wash jean dress with off-the-shoulder, dramatic bell sleeves, my Adidas, and a jean choker to match. This outfit made me feel like a princess (without wearing a literal princess costume because I’m way too old for that…right?!) and kept me comfy all day long.

No matter where you choose to go for your next vacay, if it requires a little activity there’s no need to settle for that soft tee and those super stretchy leggings. Embrace what’s around you and keep your style strong, an impression is made everywhere you go no matter how close or far away you are from home!

Happy travels!

Until next time,
